Meet Verity: Your New Monday 6am Pilates Powerhouse
By Ange Drake
There’s a special kind of magic in the studio first thing in the morning — the lights low, the air crisp, and a room full of members ready to set the tone for their entire week. And now, your Monday mornings are about to get a serious upgrade.
We’re thrilled to welcome Verity to the 23W coaching team as our new 6am Monday Mat Pilates instructor. She radiates energy the way most people radiate caffeine, and we know our community is going to love her.
A little about Verity
Movement has been stitched into Verity’s life for as long as she can remember. Pilates swept her up about five years ago and quickly evolved from a passion into a calling. She completed her instructor training through Barre Body, where she sharpened her eye for detail and developed a deep appreciation for the mind-body connection that Pilates is known for.
Her classes are designed to lift you — physically and mentally. Expect core-centric sequences, glute-focused burners, and the kind of high-vibe coaching that sneaks confidence into your bloodstream before the sun even rises. Verity brings positivity, precision, and a quietly fierce sense of strength into every session she leads.
Off the mat, you’ll find her in motion — in the gym, walking her little dog Ollie to get coffee, or heading to the beach whenever Melbourne’s weather plays nice. And if she’s still? She’s likely deep in a psychological thriller, because yes, she’s that Pilates instructor who is also a psychology student with a taste for Freida McFadden plot twists.
Get to know Verity
We threw her a few rapid-fire questions. Here’s the inside scoop:
What are you currently reading?
Anything by Freida McFadden. Verity loves a good psychological thriller — delightfully fitting for someone studying psychology.
Most-used emoji?
🥹 or 😭 — apparently the perfect representation of her daily energy.
First concert?
The Wiggles. And peak childhood joy, according to her.
Favourite TV show?
The OC. Always. She’s watched the entire series four times and defends this proudly.
If you could win an Olympic medal for any sport?
Speed-walking Ollie to get her morning coffee. Undefeated in her area.
What are you most grateful for today?
Her health, her people, and the opportunities she’s had. A sentiment we’ll happily borrow.
Join her on the mat
If your Mondays need a spark, strength, or a little soulful reset, Verity’s 6am class is your new non-negotiable. She’ll meet you where you are, remind you what your body is capable of, and send you into the week feeling grounded, strong, and switched on.
See you on the mat- bright and early.
